- SASarosh ArunkumarOct 18, 20252.0I’d give one star, but two only because the staff is friendly. This is based on the experience that occurred. Two blood samples are supposed to be taken - one on the fingertip and a traditional blood draw. The woman performing both turned out not to be a nurse, and so the first poke on my fingertip didnt get enough blood, then she attempted to take my blood from my left arm, it didn’t flow fast enough. And while she did get something, she tried to reach behind to get another vial her in a cabinet while holding my arm and blood was still flowing. Cool trick, but very dangerous, all vials should have been right next to her to start. So then she said she didn’t get enough, another finger on my right hand, then tried to draw blood from my right arm, drew nothing, and it hurt like hell. Turned out, she wasn’t a nurse. I’m not sure what she was (maybe a nurse in training?) so she went on got the onsite nurse who did another cut on my left finger and did the draw from my left hand. After that, sat with the nurse, she spoke to me essentially about all the services they offer and what might be relevant for me, I was expecting a sales pitch so nothing wrong there, wasn’t pushy. Turnaround time is short, for the free check I was doing, you get total T, they won’t give you SBHG or free T, Nonetheless, having unqualified staff attempting to perform blood draws is highly dangerous. In addition, if you’re expecting to see a doctor, you may not. Nurses are qualified to discuss a lot of issues with you anyway, but if that’s a priority, know that you may not.
