  I don’t know what the bad reviews are about, but I came in today and had a pleasant experience. My wait time wasn’t long at all and the NP Jacquelyn and the Megan made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. If primary care providers created such environments with their patients I feel we would visit them more! I would recommend this location.

  I came to this location years ago and had a great experience, but something has clearly changed, and not for the better. It feels like there are new staff members here who have absolutely no concern for patients or the mission Planned Parenthood claims to stand for. I’ve been bleeding nonstop for months and have been in unbearable physical and emotional pain. I need my Nexplanon removed. plain and simple. This is a serious medical issue. Instead, I was met with a front desk employee who couldn’t have cared less. She told me you didn’t take my insurance and that I’d have to go through my primary care provider. I explained I’ve already tried that and can’t be seen for months. Her response? “Just get a new provider.” are you kidding me? That’s not how healthcare works. Then she told me to just show up at my doctor’s office… again, completely ignoring what I was asking for, which was help here, now, at Planned Parenthood. I told her I couldn’t afford the out-of-pocket cost, and she just shrugged. No options. No effort. No compassion. It was as if I was asking for a free boob job instead of relief from something that’s been ruining my life for months. Her attitude was cold, dismissive, and honestly disgusting. I left and drove to the Lakewood location, they helped me right away, treated me with empathy, and handled the situation the way it should’ve been handled in the first place. If this location is going to keep staff who act like this, who blatantly ignore the urgency and reality of patients situations, then you’re failing the community you claim to serve. This woman should not be working in healthcare, especially not at a place like Planned Parenthood. If you need the employee name, I’ll be happy to share.

  If I could I’d give them no stars . I should have I Listened to the reviews . These staff are so unprofessional unsympathetic and lazy . They discuss your business in front of everyone and will give u a hard time just because . Every person in there had a problem when I came into this office. And one girl specifically Meagen that was suppose to do my intake was super childish and wanted to keep arguing about MY visit . It was a very awkward situation and mid conversation she walked away laughed yelled for someone else to help me and slammed the door . I’m sure this isn’t her first time . It’s all gossip in this office . Ladies I wouldn’t recommend you going unfortunately

  Don’t know why this has so many bad reviews! This was my first time at a planned parenthood and I actually walked in for an IUD placement on midday weekday. Everyone was so efficient, nice, the process was so quick and easy and I didn’t even have an appointment. Sam the PA is amazing and has incredible and professional bedside manner. Everyone was great. Planned Parenthood is a beyond a gift to our society
