- MMMaiaNov 14, 20251.0Beware, they tend to lure customers and charge the more than mentioned!! I called in before visiting and asked them for pricing of eye exam. The mentioned that because I have this XX insurance they give discount and $80 eye exam would be $25 since it is out of network for me. I went in to do the exam as they mentioned they take walk-ins. They never mentioned that the doctor will be virtual until you actually go for the exam. During the payment- they disclose that I have to buy glasses only then I will get the discount(which wasn’t disclosed on call). I told the receptionist that I was told on call for certain price. Then she said the virtual call attenders generally do this so the customer can visit and they have to pay the full amount or end up buying glasses and still pay more!! She acknowledged it’s a problem yet they continue to do so to lure more customers! I wouldn’t recommend this store based on my experience.

Its hard to find frames that go with my face shape but with their variety of options to select from, I found MY match! This is my second time coming back after a few years and customer service was still amazing! They give a warm welcome and bring fun when assisting in choosing your glasses. I will definitely come back AGAIN😁

My experience happened last year, but I will never go back for the following reasons: The eye exam is done by a virtual optometrist, which is not disclosed when you make the appointment. They told that they accept VSP insurance, although they are not a real provider of VSP, so it will cost you more out-of-pocket. It took me over two months to get my glasses. The first pair of glasses were not made correctly according to my prescription, consequently I had to go to the Modesto location to have a physical eye exam before they could re-order a pair of glasses. My glasses fall off my face when I wear them.. The customer service provided by the Lodi location was terrible. The young man did not return my phone calls, nor did he follow through on calling back after he said he would. I had to go back into the location to get any questions answered. I choose not to state the person that helped me as he was very nice in person, however he did not follow through on any of his promises.
