This location is terrible!!!! Staff were unprofessional!!! Talking about personal stuff, laughing loudly knowing patients are waiting... Stuff that on the desk are so rude. These people should not allowed to work that deal with human being! Concentra Irwindale should hire a professional and with compassion with patient. It is so sad that these people deal with human being. I would give this facility a zero if there is a choice!!

I came in for my physical at this location and needed to ask about a vaccine I received a few months ago, for which I had proper documentation. She explained the process for declining it, but the interaction felt rushed and uncomfortable. I was met with attitude and rude, dismissive looks, as if assisting me was an inconvenience.
I understand staff are busy and want to keep things moving, but customers shouldn’t be made to feel this way. She also wasn’t wearing an ID, so I had to ask for her name just to address her properly. I even overheard comments suggesting I was being “difficult,” which was disappointing.
As someone who works in the same field, I make a conscious effort not to treat others this way because I know how it feels on the receiving end. I hope management can address these behaviors while continuing to recognize and encourage the professionalism demonstrated by staff like Dr. Andrew and Sophia, to improve overall customer care.
After that interaction, I was left waiting alone in an exam room for almost 30 minutes. I would have understood the delay if it had been explained, but no one communicated with me at all.
By the time I met the doctor, my experience improved significantly. Dr. Andrew was very kind, sincere, and professional, and took the time to speak with me in a respectful manner. His professionalism stood in clear contrast to the earlier interaction. Additionally, Sophia, the staff member I met at the end of my physical, was very warm, approachable, and communicated in a genuinely professional way, which I appreciated.

the initial workmans comp referral visit was a bad experience. I was told there was a 4 hour wait just to be seen. The receptionist explained that there was only one Doctor in the facility and he was on lunch. The rest of the people there were waiting for physicals. After that initial visit the follow up wait time was on time with an arranged appointment. The staff are very friendly but not very professional as there seemed to be some sort of celebration in the exam room lobby. The Physical therapy department so far is 5 star plus. Mr.Terry is very knowledgeable as to my condition and is patient and concerned. The entire facility is very clean and up to date as far as equipment.

I had a work injury and had called ahead a time that I was actively bleeding and coming in needing care. I get there and the front desk had no idea about my situation or call. I was taken to the back where I wasn’t seen for 2 1/2 hours, granted the front desk told me they were down to 1 doctor for the night. The nurse and doctor said when I first got to the back that I would need x-rays.. I didn’t get x-rays until 2 1/2 hours later before the doctor was going to see me. I was dripping blood on the floor and had to yell for the nurses several times as no one was checking up on me. I came back the following day first thing in the morning per request of the doctor from the night before, and I saw a different doctor on shift in the morning. The nurse hat took me back was lazy and made me take off the bandages and wrapping myself, didn’t put the bench up for my leg to rest. The doctor then came in and just looked at my injury. And then I told him that the doctor last night told me they would show me how to clean and wrap my injury and supplies to prevent infection. The nurse nor doctor did that. The nurse then came and wrapped up my injury very lazily. And gave me some supplies, no extras in case I messed up and needed more, just enough until my next appointment. I left and I walked back in because I was not given anything to clean my injury, I had to beg and ask specifically for what the doctor from last night told me I would receive the next day, and even then the morning doctor questioned me and the supplies I asked for which was (iodine, antibiotic ointment) and wrapping supplies. He ended up giving me reluctantly just those two items, no more wrapping supplies. When I got to my destination two days later I looked at the iodine and saw that it was expired, expiration date: 05/25 at the time of this injury it was the end of 11/25. The night nurse did a good job with my injury, just very long wait time. The morning staff horrible and lazy, definitely do not care for the patients and their injuries.
