  Had a Mirena IUD insertion. Planned parenthood clinicians are really experts in birth control. Ashley did a great job, she was gentle and trauma-informed, and the actual procedure went super quick thanks to her expertise! There was even the option for a cervical block for pain control. I expected to have a long wait time but I was in and out in a really reasonable amount of time. Everyone was so professional and great including the front office and the medical assistant Brenda.

  I came here to get a prescription using Family PACT insurance from California. I originally had booked with another clinic, not Planned Parenthood, and they did not bill my insurance and sent me a quote for the appointment for something that should be fully included. Planned Parenthood correctly billed my insurance and the entire appointment was super smooth. Waiting times were a little long. I arrived on time, waited 20 minutes to get a room, then waited a while for a nurse, then another 20 minutes to see a doctor. I spent about an hour there to get a prescription for a medication.

  The women at this particular facility are truly amazing....every single one of them is compassionate and understanding.amd so patient every time I go there. Today they went above and beyond. i had been putting off going for so long and I really needed to be seen ...long story short I am so thankful for their patience today and my dog is too!!🐶🐕

  I’ve had very positive experiences with the providers and staff at this location. Ashley brown (provider) is the only provider I’ve ever encountered in my entire life who actually cares and listens to my woman issues I’ve had since I was 12! She is so empathetic, professional, and friendly. She really works hard to figure out what is going on and is quick to refer me out if needed. The other providers are amazing too but I’ve only seen them prior to the issue I’m having. The medical assistants and office staff are super nice and professional too. If there’s a delay they will keep you updated and even offer you a drink to keep you comfortable while you wait. I’ve never had such a positive experience and I’m so incredibly thankful to have found this clinic. I had an OB I use to see yearly for birth control and switched to this clinic since moving to Escondido because they will schedule appointments soon and if an appointment opens up even sooner they reach out to you. I use to have to wait for OB appointments for MONTHS and my old office would only give me an 3 month supply of the birth control I need for hormones and that I’ve taken since I was 13 plus that office wanted to see me every 3 months just for refills. now I’ve never had to wait for longer than a week for appointments AND they give me a YEAR’S supply. Yep an entire year! It’s a godsend especially considering I need this medication all the time not just for contraceptive reasons it’s so I don’t get ill.

  10/10! Had a very pleasant experience here and will definitely be coming back. Made an online appointment and checked in quickly. The staff were kind, professional, and knowledgable and made me feel very comfortable for my annual exam. The clinic was very clean as well. I let them know of my concerns not listed in the annual exam and they made time to accommodate my needs the same visit.
