- LRLeizyl RomeroApr 16, 20221.0I showed up on time for my appointment but waited for an hour with my pants down in the exam room for the nurse practitioner to show up. They told me she would see me in 15 minutes. My appointment was scheduled a week and a half ahead from my last appointment. When she finally showed up, she explained how she was getting ready for a baby shower for her friend and didn't know she was suppose to be here. I was in tears from waiting for so long and she made me feel like it was my fault she forgot my appointment and made me feel guilty for making her miss her friend's baby shower. She didn't listen to me when I was explaining my symptoms and the reason why I was there. I felt so uncomfortable I wanted to leave but I proceeded with the appointment because I needed the care. Looking back at it now, I should've left and tried another clinic. They sent me letters asking me to get retested and to schedule another appointment because my lab results weren't processed. I ended up going to another clinic. It was a waste of time and traumatizing experience. The person who checked me in was very nice but the nurses who took care of me were not. My visit was in February
