We paid $1800 for a three-year membership, allowing both of us to use the facilities for the full three years. Unfortunately, after only one year, only my brother is allowed to enter the gym. In truth, they lied to us. Please be careful when signing up and paying such amounts; make sure you are not defrauded, as this is a very unpleasant experience.

Kyle taught me about proper nutrition and the joy/form of boxing. Ronnie, aka Coach Scoob, taught me about adaptability, new training techniques by incorporating plyometrics, Bulgarian Bag work, and training until failure (safely). I’d highly recommend training with these coaches. Coach Kyle and Scoob are so personable and helpful, always tuning in to how I’m responding to the regimen and what I need in order to maximize my progress and results. Professional, knowledgeable, and top notch fitness instructors that have transformed me from the worst shape I was in, into the best shape I’ve ever been.

UFC Gym, you’ve perfected it. You market yourselves as a clean, 24/7 facility, a temple of fitness. In truth, you’re a dimly lit cautionary tale. For $70 a month, I expected order, cleanliness, and at least a passing acquaintance with hygiene. Instead, I’m greeted by the same chewed gum cemented in the urinal stall like some grotesque landmark, dust bunnies plotting coups in the corners, and a sauna that could be studied by epidemiologists. Three staff members lounge behind the front desk while the gym — the very thing you sell — languishes in filth. It’s not simply laziness; it’s negligence, and negligence, my friends, is far more expensive than a mop and a bottle of disinfectant. If the goal was to create an environment less sanitary than the BART train at rush hour, congratulations. Mission accomplished.
