  I recently had my wive admitted there for memory care and was impressed how they worked with individuals on skills that use there minds that keeps individuals minds working. I was also impressed with how clean Brookdale was kept, how friendly staff is and there is a large area in back so you’re able to walk outside with chairs and tables. My wife seems to enjoy being there

  Brookdale community for senior is a wonderful place for your love one, Brookdale staff are very accommodating. It’s a very clean neat & soothing environment, the staff is wonderful! They greet you by first name when you walk in the door to visit your loved one. They’re on top of everything they sure do keep your loved ones Busy so they’re not bored. My mother-in-law loves Brookdale Community Center in Citrus Heights’ she’s always telling us of how happy she is and she’s always thanking for making this wonderful secure place her new home. The entertainment they have for the seniors there is wonderful. The holidays were great looking forward for the rest of 2025 and beyond.

  My wife, Joan,.has been cared for over the last 10 months at Brookdale. During this time the few incidents , falls, have been handled in a professional manner. The staff is excellent and show strong interest in the residents. I feel the choice of Brookdale to care for Joan was a good one.

  When we look at Brookdale we were impressed by the grounds as mom mom is a walker and we thought it would be a good fit for her as she really seemed to liked it when we took her there to see it. The Ra chel came to interview us so we decided to put mom in Brookdale. Before O start I want to sat there are a few good caretakers that made our short stay there as pleasant as it could be. We had minor problems that I went to Rachel with and it seemed that they weren't important to her and I feel that she just put a band aid on them instead of fixing therm.After putting mom there the friendliness wasn't there and it seemed she just didn't care about what was going on in the facility. Rachel never gets up from her messy desk to help. Well things didn't get betters I went to Melissa next with no results that then took me to upper management Zack.Zack, Melissa and I had a meeting which they tool a lot of notes and I felt that something would be done. Well stupid me with in 2 weeks my mother was assaulted and once again of course there is no record of it anywhere and no one knew anything about it. I want you to know that this happened on the 10pm - 7am shift where a lot of things happen that NO one knows anything about.We got a call from the morning shift that knows nothing about what happened because no records found anywhere and they weren't there. We fo over and are devastated to see a hand print on her face with many other bruised elsewhere. She hasn't talked much lately but did tell her husband that she was scared to death so we took her out that evening NEVER to return. It took 2 days for a call from Melissa to want to give me a update on the investigation really 2 days and to top it off that didn't happen either. We made a police report and Rachel was interviewed and how about this she now has times and suggested that it was a resident that many have done this another big band aid. I now made another apt. with Zack and the only thing he could say was I guess we dropped the ball two times ya think? There is definitely a problem with COMMUNICATION following through and actually caring for our loved ones that we put in their hands.If you want a clean room you have to do it yourself as all the cleaner does is wash the floor and washing clothes is another joke they are missing or ruined which gets expensive to replace. As you can see I am not happy with this place and look around and don't be fooled by the beautiful grounds this place is a nightmare and the upper management just wants money
