  I had an amazing experience at Stanton Optical! Luis was super sweet, understanding, and helped me through the entire process from start to finish. It was my first time visiting, and he made everything quick, easy, and stress-free. He was incredibly kind and patient, and I really appreciated how he took the time to explain everything clearly. Definitely recommending this location because of him!

  They are simply THE BEST here (and they answer the phone when you call - a rarity these days!). I was traveling and they immediately helped me with the utmost grace and kindness. Katherine, Evelyn, and Alexis went especially out of their way to help me.

  I visited Stanton Optical recently after making an inquiry. Their customer service representative was very helpful and scheduled an appointment the same day for my glasses . The helpful representative even stated that Stanton would honor my insurance even if it was out of network. Upon arriving at the Stanton, I was helped by Evelyn a very helpful and knowledgeable agent. Evelyn was very helpful in helping me choose two glasses. A big shout out to Evelyn. I would recommend Stanton Optical for Eye Glasses.👍

  MALPRACTICE warning: I suggest you go to a big box retailer like Walmart or Target. They tried giving me a lower prescription than I needed and with incorrect measurements. I went in to inquire about it and they laughed at me and said I was overcorrected. This form of oppression should not be tolerated. What if I was an underprivileged kid and the only way out of poverty was to get into sports or see the whiteboard in front of me? Worse, how would I identify the prime suspect who’s been picking on me at/after school? The story on my experience here: This year 2024 I went to Stanton Optical. I went in with an open mind. I had no reason to doubt this doctor’s ability. I got an updated prescription and got to wear a pair of trial lenses out of the vision store. Afterwards,I headed to the hardware store to pick up some items. When I was there I noticed that faces were blurry. I couldn’t make out facial features or tell if somebody was making eye contact at a short distance. I gave it some time thinking the contacts may be settling in. It wasn’t until the end of the night when I put my glasses back on that I noticed how much better my vision was with the glasses. I haven’t ever had a difference in vision between contacts and glasses except for the blurriness from dry contacts. I finally looked at my new prescription and compared it to my previous copy of 2022. The biggest difference was in the power under sphere. Previously it was -2.00 for my right eye and -1.75 for my left eye. This peculiar prescription for 2024 said -1.25 for both eyes. I’m 29 years old. I don’t believe there’s any reason for my eyes to have gotten better. There was also a small difference in my axis for glasses and an increase of 10 on contacts. I’m not an optometrist myself, so I’m not sure if axis makes much of a difference. What I do know is that my power is not correct. I couldn’t believe it. For some peace of mind before bed I did a quick test. I looked at the time on my phone from the mirror reflection while wearing my glasses. I put the contacts back on and looked at the time on my phone from the same distance. The bold numbers on my lock screen blurred and I couldn’t see the colon between the hours and minutes. That’s when I knew this wasn’t right. Yes, the people were pleasant. And, some employers aren’t directly involved in the misconduct and malpractice. This is a white collar crime. My previous post was deleted and not by me. Lock up windows, rekey your doors, reset the garage openers, and get security cameras to your entrances. Be well Bakersfield!
