Horrible experience.
Made an appointment for a routine cleaning - told them upfront that I was a new patient. No problem.
Show up for the appointment. 50 pages of new patient paperwork later, I’m ready. Dental assistant working the front desk starts insisting that I need to do new X-rays. Tells me we can’t move forward without them. Fine. She takes 50 X-rays, including some spinning 2D imaging.
I then get sent into a room for a tele-dentist consultation where I’m given a “care plan” that I didn’t want or ask for. Oh and by the way, that care plan included $875 of out of pocket expenses for floride, a mouth guard, and a replacement filling.. but it would’ve been $1,500 without insurance so lucky me.
I agreed to the $55 replacement filling, said no to the rest, just want to get my routine cleaning and replacement filling and go.
After an hour since I first arrived, “Oh they didn’t tell you? There’s no Doctor in that can do your cleaning today. We’ll need to schedule you for another appointment.”
Insane.

Truly incredible experiences here. The staff is so nice and knowledgeable, they make sure you're comfortable and seen quickly. Pricing is given up front and is super affordable. Dr. Nicol is calm, not over reactive and takes care to make sure you're comfortable with the process. He was very careful and aware of my comfort level and always made sure I felt comfortable, talking me through the procedure as it went on. Special thanks to Irene and Matt. I truly cannot recommend this dental office enough!

I have been going to this office for about a year, and have had extensive work done including some implants and a bridge. That being said the actual work has been done well, my problem is with how the practice conducts business when you have an issue. The first problem, I had was over the summer when I went in with severe pain that eventually required a root canal to treat. This process dragged on and on with their scheduling department unable to get me in with the 'specialist' for weeks and when I did finally see him, he was unaware that the problem was already diagnosed and therefore did not have the time to do the treatment and I had to wait another week. On top of that, the doctor who did the diagnosis, prescribed pain medicine, but what he prescribed was a dosage that is not common and rejected by the pharmacy. Both myself and the pharmacy called his office multiple times to get a correction but he failed to call them back and handle it. I spent over a month in pain waiting for this to be corrected. I similarly went in recently with another problem (Yes, I have very bad teeth, which isn't the fault of this dental office), and I went in for a same day appointment to see if they could help me. The office took several X-rays and a 2-D scan of my mouth. They then sent this to another dentist in San Diego for review. I was then put in a room for a Zoom meeting with this dentist and a billing department rep. He informed me that I would need to now have a 3-D scan that would cost me $375 out of pocket and with that, they could decide what to do. I was then left with the billing rep who took my payment upfront, and assured me that someone would look at the scan today and then get back to me. They have not gotten back to me, so now I have to track down whoever it is that is supposed to read the scan. On top of that, I would again need to see the 'specialist', who only seems to come to this office once a month, at another office, but he isn't available for 2 weeks, so again, I am left in pain and never got to see an actual dentist in person for this problem. With all of this, I will be leaving this practice once the work I have already paid for (dental implants, paid upfront of course), is completed, and find another office that is more patient friendly and is less concerned with payment. I do not recommend this office if you need anything more than a cleaning and the occasional cavity filled.
