- DKDavid KleinApr 18, 20255.0I cannot recommend Monte Nido / Clementine Malibou Lake more...and I am shocked to see the negative reviews here. I get that everyone's experience is different and the experience heavily depends on the staff working at the time of treatment, but our overall experience with Monte Nido/Clementine was absolutely fantastic. Our daughter was hospitalized in the Fall and admitted to Monte Nido/Clementine where she spent 45 days in recovery. The entire staff was absolutely amazing! Olivia Schoenecker runs a wonderful facility with excellent staff. Gabby Miller is a tremendous asset and is an incredibly insightful and well educated family therapist. Nutritionist Brianna Bosson developed a good recovery plan for our daughter and the on-site chef prepared truly fantastic meals which actually made our daughter excited about food again. Therapist Natalie Keegan and Nurse Joanna Martin are truly sweethearts and were very warm and caring during our daughter's stay. Most of the rest of the staff were warm and friendly which our daughter truly needed. Her favorites were: Sanjana, Dailey, Katherine, Natalie, Nicole, Olivia, Brianna, Bree, Mia and Georgina. We were very hesitant to send our daughter off an hour and a half away from home and the negative reviews scared us but Monte Nido/Clementine Malibu Lake was the absolute best spot for her. Our daughter's after-care therapist has even said it is the best facility in the nation! And some of the other girls were from all over the U.S. so that also speaks volumes. The home itself is lovely, tucked in the foothills of the beautiful Santa Monica Mountains, truly a magical area, perfect for our daughter's recovery. Thank you so much, Monte Nido/Clementine for taking such very good care of our girl! Highly, highly, highly recommend. (And make sure you visit The Old Place and the beautiful lake just down the road!)

- EEEFeb 19, 20235.0Very grateful for my experience here. Most staff were wonderful with a few not so great who would yell and were very passive aggressive too. But overall, it was a life-saving place for me. Liv and Callan are amazing therapists, Carly is a good dietitian, Susan, the family therapist that used to work here is great!
- LTLynne TaveraAug 19, 20215.0Highly recommend this program. Entire team was terrific. The program is very FBT focussed, incorporates family into patient care. My daughter had one tuff week but adjusted thereafter with staff that is very firm but hugely empathetic and totally gets the teen anorexic brain. Really no yucky or hostile staff. My daughter loved her individual and family therapist. She wasn't crazy about all of the CBT and DBT but I think it was good for her. They made her feel very safe and were responsive to any questions or concerns we had. She returned weight restored plus good cushion, also much better able to manage her big feelings. Cannot recommend Clementine at Malibu more highly.
