Glad this location is closing. The manager
Sean K minimum wage worker did not acknowledging my feelings but allowing your employee to act unprofessional. I have never experienced this type of customer services in my many of years shopping here. I do believe because I was a person of colour he did not care about my feelings and deflected. He did not even acknowledge his employee's behaviour.
Do better London Drugs.

I live near this place and honestly, I haven't stopped going because it's close by, but what I do know is that on several occasions I've had to leave and not buy what I wanted because the checkout line during rush hour is awful. I don't know why they don't open more cashiers; people have things to do, they can't wait 10 minutes to pay. This is terrible.

re: customer service said they passed the review along
This is about the older white lady working as the cosmetics manager, she's worked there for a long time. Had several bad experiences with her.
My first complaint is about her spreading misinformation: I was looking for a Cerave Benzoyl Peroxide cleanser and she was inclined to tell me that “cerave is not clean, there are much better products out there…it is harmful”
The ingredients she was worried about was “propylparaben” because it said to affect fertility, etc.
1. Cerave is not only a dermatologist recommended brand but it is an international brand sold in every drugstore. It would not be passed by FDA if it was so dangerous
2. She was giving me unsolicited input
3. She made unwanted comments “well you don’t have acne”…that’s because I use the cerave product 😂 which has benzoyl peroxide which she didn’t even know what “BP” is
4. propylparaben, sure, can be dangerous in copius amounts but in this case, it is in a topical AND wash off product.
5. There is no such thing as a “clean” product! "clean" products have a short shelf life and parabens serve as a preservative.
she is perpetuating green washing and fear mongering.
6. she went on to recommend "cetaphil," a brand notorious for having fragrance
The second complaint is that she is not aware of the store’s return policy. I come to LD because of it’s reliable return policy; if the product doesn’t work or satisfy me, I can bring it for return.
When I tried to bring back a cosmetic that did not work for me, she said “I cannot take it back because its been opened and used” despite, every other LD employee at this location and other locations promoting that aspect of the return policy.

The guy at the electronic department is really bad at customer service. I went to buy a sd card reader and I’m not familiar with those products so I asked to make sure but he was so rude to me instead of explaining well he showed the bad attitude (like i don’t even know that) and his face shows anger and treated me very bad. I’m so upset with that and I think london drugs should have a proper training for those kind of staffs who has anger issues. So then it will be helpful of the customers.

I tried to purchase the “Pokemon Trading Card Game: Mega Evolution Booster Blister - 3 Pack” at London Drugs. According to the website, the Kingsway location showed it was in stock, but when I went to the store, they told me they didn’t have it. The staff member even seemed unfamiliar with the product. It would be helpful if the online stock information were updated more accurately to avoid confusion.
