I needed to purchase a variety of things so I went up to the front with my neocitran and some other items I wished to buy, and spoke to the cashier about my intent to purchase my neocitran first, get the gift card and then immediately apply it to my purchases. She got upset with me and told me the intent was to apply the card to my next visit, at which point I said I'd be willing to return the other items to the shelf and just get my meds and the gift card, after which she told me there was "no need to be a smartass". I'm not gravely offended at being called that, but I didn't think there was a need for name calling.
