This pharmacist, Lisa, at this location has absolutely no experience or empathy when dealing with customers. She has a huge ego, does not listen to the customers, incompetent when it comes to de-escalation and finding resolution with customers. This pharmacist is young and unwilling to learn from her mistakes but most of all she refuses to rectify the mistakes they made when I called in for FluAd. We were told yes there are "lots" of fluad so we made appts same day. Upon arrival, Lisa said no more fluad only regular flu vaccines despite I already called earlier the same day to confirm availability. Lisa back pedalled about the "lots" and very unapologetic. We drove from Tsawwassen to Richmond...2 elderlies on a horrible rainy cold day just for the fluad. When asked how is she going to resolve their mistakes, Lisa basically refused to accomodate. I suggest others write to Corporate office at Pattison Food Group and let administration know what kind of service we the customers are receiving. In addition, let pharmacy manager, Patway Yeung, know that these young pharmacists need to be better trained in areas like customer service. Great pharmacists do not just dispense medication but has a strong rapport and listen to their customers and they should be aware that their behavior and attitude in treating customers are a reflection of Price Smart and most importantly, Pattison Food Group. Shame on pharmacist, Lisa for treating elderlies with such contempt.

I’ve had multiple unpleasant experiences with a pharmacist named Art at PriceSmart Pharmacy. Most recently, I called to verify instructions from my specialist regarding a possible dose increase, but instead of listening, Art repeatedly interrupted me and said things like “the instructions are on the bottle” and “let me do my thing, don’t distract me.” He was dismissive, unhelpful, and made me feel completely unheard.
When I asked to speak with someone else, he put me on hold and never apologized for his attitude. This isn’t the first time he’s spoken to me this way, and it’s very disappointing to be treated like that when I’m simply trying to manage my medication responsibly.
The pharmacy itself is usually reliable, but customer service like this is unacceptable—especially from someone in a healthcare role. I hope management addresses this issue so other customers don’t experience the same disrespect.

Impatient pharmacists on the phone and in person. And they look annoyed when explaining to seniors.
