Yesterday, I came in with my child, and 3–4 staff members kept passing by and pretending to restock. They stood around us in a circle and we were the own people in that area, which made me very uncomfortable. I understand that shoplifting incidents has increased and that staff need to be more cautious that we might break the stuff but I had no intention of stealing anything—I was just trying to make sure my child didn’t break anything. We were simply looking for Christmas gifts for my son’s teachers. I even told my son that the staff seemed worried we might break or steal something so we should hurry and not touch anything we weren’t buying. After a while, they finally walked away. This ended up being the worst 20 minutes shopping experience I’ve ever had.
