Friendly staff members. I'm satisfied enough of what they did to my son while taking the test. Giving instructions beforehand. It did help my son to prepare himself not to be tense or scared. Thank you!

The optometrist Aneil Sandhu, was extremely rude. I explained I avoid providing unnecessary personal data as it's security risk to me if the company's data is hacked. I have never had a problem at other optometrists just providing the minimum data they need. Aneil wanted my address in case he needed to write a prescription. I told him I would provide that if and when he needed to do that. He also wanted my MSP number in case he needed to do something he could bill to MSP. Again I told him I would provide it if and when ne heeded it. Aneil then very rudely told me I was a time waster and I should go somewhere else. Actually Aneil, according to Borden Ladner Gervais LLP, "Data minimization is a fundamental principle of Canadian personal information protection laws" and "Information should not be collected or retained on a “just in case” basis" and Specsavers is on dubious legal ground collecting all this "just in case" data.

Just wanted to leave a review for Dr. Sandhu. This guy is the man. He seriously knows what he’s doing and is extremely friendly, supportive, personable and helpful with your concerns. He will go out of his way to ensure your eyes are taken care of. I told him I was going to get married in a few days in Mexico and he gave me a few extra trials in case anything were to happen with my contacts! Always a pleasure seeing him, highly recommend anyone looking for a true professional!

Unprofessional and liar!!! The store retail manager is anti-customer. Want to get transitional sunglasses for my new frame bought in Japan. After “inspecting” my frame, the manager arranged me to a service table at back and got a sales to “serve” me. When I told her I didn’t need prescription lens she was disappointed and walked to talk to the retail manger and come back to tell me they cannot put on non-prescriptive lens for my frame. She gave me the reason that they need a optometrist prescription that certified that I don’t need prescription! Then I asked her there are sunglasses in the store and do I need prescription to buy those glasses. She told me yes! What a liar and so unprofessional! Probably a sunglasses lens with no prescription is too small a job for them and they wanted to turn me down but with such a reason really way too unprofessional!!! I would never recommend any one to this store.
