  The “2 pairs of glasses + free eye exam for $79” at Stanton Optical is classic bait-and-switch, plain and simple. I told them I'd be leaving a review about my experience and the manager encouraged me to do so. So here it is :) I called ahead, made an appointment, and confirmed that the promotion was available. I then wasted over 2 hours total (one hour commute) to discover the $79 frames do not exist in this store. The two shelves labeled for this promotion were empty!! The store itself was empty too, which, based on my experience isn't surprising; only the manager and one associate were in the store. After filling out paperwork, and going through a preliminary screening, I began looking at frames and learned the truth. Thankfully, I had not begun my eye exam, or I would have been on the hook to pay for that! There was no explanation for why the shelves were empty; just a vague offer to “take $79 off” more expensive frames, with no clear response when I asked how much two frames from the next, more expensive tier would cost, in total. Instead, I was quizzed about how much I paid for my current pair and given the run-around with talk about the difference between plastic and polycarbonate lenses -- I'm 45 and have been wearing glasses since I was 14. Repeatedly, I was directed to the more expensive frames, with the manager getting irritated when I declined the more expensive frames. The manager yelled, "Have a Nice Day!" and "Happy New Year" as I left the store on Jan 7th. I've taken advantage of similar offers before from America's Best, Nationwide Vision, and Eyeglass World and have never had this sort of an experience anywhere else and have never left without making a purchase. My first and last time to Stanton Optical.

  Edgar was amazing! I felt comfortable getting my exam, it was quick and easy! The selection was really nice! On my ride there my driver mentioned he also gets his glasses from here. Glad I picked this over the others!

  This was my first time at this place. The staff was very nice, especially the girl that did my initial intake. I have never seen an eye doctor virtual.That was weird. They also couldn't get a prescription for me, which was weird as well. I personally would never go back to this place again.

  DON'T GO HERE!!! I got the wrong lens put in one side. Lens crafters used same prescription which works Great! Stanton is really cheap, but wasted my money on 2 pairs that I can't see through!! They deny that lenses were wrong. I already had them checked elsewhere....

  Very Disappointing Experience – Do Not Recommend I had an extremely negative experience at Stanton Optical, largely due to the technician named Giselle who assisted me. Her customer service was absolutely horrible—rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful from start to finish. I felt rushed, talked down to, and treated like my time and concerns did not matter at all. As a customer, you expect at least basic professionalism and courtesy, but that was completely lacking. Instead of helping or explaining anything clearly, she showed zero patience and made the entire process stressful and unpleasant. Experiences like this make it easy to understand why some of Stanton Optical’s other locations have shut down permanently. Poor customer service drives customers away, and this location is a clear example of that problem. Based on my experience, I would strongly warn new customers not to even consider going here. There are many other optical providers who value their customers—this is not one of them.
