- CPCandy PipesOct 25, 20254.0Scheduled a next day appt and went in today for my contacts/glasses exam. There were plenty of openings and the online scheduling was quick and easy. The staff was amazing. I got in right away, they were very nice and knowledgeable. This is the first time both eyes got puffed on the first try without having to try again. Costs were transparent and went over very throughly right in front of me. The receipt even has a little picture of what you ordered. The pre-exam and after-exam were amazing. The exam is done with an eye dr in a different location which I've done elsewhere so not a new experience. The intro video was a nice touch. The dr himself wasn't great. He was sighing heavily and you could tell he was frustrated and impatient. I almost just called for the tech and ended the exam when he started doing that but since he was online and I just wanted to get it done, I didn't. He made me very uncomfortable. The office and staff themselves are wonderful though.

Have to wait a while almost week and a half to see again...and that's not even for specialized lenses. Stupid...smh....oh but I still paid the same day even tho I walked away with no glasses ....
- BMBrittney McLeanOct 24, 20251.0I used up all my characters for my review on my main email. So for part 1, visit the person w the same name (different profile). This has been ongoing SINCE JAN 22, 2025. The owner called me on Aug 1 after I reported to the AG. His offer: to pay for a second opinion (exam) with another optometrist, reimburse me for what I paid for the glasses (my exam at stanton was free under promo that day), and comp me a pair of glasses. I had 1 clear frames and one purple for sunglasses. One employee kept bending the sunglasses over and over to see if it would help (which it never would because it was the wrong rx but we didnt know yet at the time) so I felt like the material was weak from over bending at this point and chose to replace those as the one free. They still feel WEIRD btw but havent had time to have them checked. I followed up twice w Ed about the reimbursement of my exam fee from the second opinion ($95) and after the 2nd attempt, this was the response I got. Well...thats an interesting response considering the conversation on Aug 1. This is a one party consent state. I dont play games and I come with receipts. Act w integrity. Doesn't it take MORE work to be acting this shady? 🤦♀️
