This store has many employees who are very professional and courteous. One of your employees who is outstanding is Marquise who goes above and beyond every time my wife and I visit the store.

Today I am giving Safeway 1 star (golf links location) because my roommate and I were standing at the florist counter on August 6th, 2015 at around 8-8:30 am. Upon standing there for several minutes, we finally went and found someone to help up, she was very nice, and proceeded to find someone who could better help us. After a few more min another woman came to help, this woman was very rude. My roommate had her children with her, one accidently let go of one of the balloons that my roommate wanted, (we were buying ballons for her kids who she is adopting TODAY) my roommate proceeded to ask is their was a way she could get the balloon, the employee said "yeah I can't get that" my roommate then asked if their was anymore in the drawers that she could blow up, the employee (she) said " I don't know, I am not the florist" she didn't even try looking in any of the drawers for them, she just automatically said no. My roommate proceeded to ask for a variety of different color balloons (8) almost all of them were green balloons with pink strings attached, the employee knew we were buying a pink "it's a girl" balloon and was trying to buy a princess balloon (the one that was let go) their was only one pink balloon... As we were standing their playing with the kids, and the balloons we already had in our hands, the employee (she) rudely told me "if your in a hurry, then you can pay up front" I just looked at her and didn't say anything, nothing about how we were acting made us seem like we were in a hurry, nor did we even say anything that hinted we were. (We were already going to pay for them upfront, because we had other things) this employee was very rude the whole time, and she was the one in a hurry. I have been going to Safeway for about 4 years now, I have never had a bad experience, until today. I will continue shopping with Safeway, but never again will I buy balloons from Safeway, I was very dissatisfied.
