He made many assumptions and stereotypes including talking about mom making dinner (my husband cooks), trying to distract my 14 yo son by talking about scantily clad women at the beach, and assuming we were not parents of one of our children based on his own internal stereotypes. We have been coming to the same location for 3 years for flu shots, but this will be the last time. The room where you get the vaccines is also dirty, dusty, and more like a storage room. I complained to TJ, the store manager, but other than “talking to him” there isn’t much they plan to do. So disappointed to have someone’s stereotypes and biases come from and center while we try to care for our family members.
