It was stressful making the decision regarding when and where would be the best place for memory care for my husband of 57 years. Brookdale has proven to be a place my husband is living his best life. Each visit I can know he is cared for. I am thankful we made this choice.

I had a great experience touring this facility. All the residents were allowed to hangout in the lobby. There was a family moving their mother out back to a new state to be closer to their family but they gave me their honest opinion about the facility. They said that they truly loved this facility and were very sad to go. - Karla and Andi were very helpful on the tour. Very great people to talk to and be around.

Recently had to move our mom to Memory Care and were very pleased to find the Brookdale Tempe facility. It is a very welcoming atmosphere that is bright and clean, with a very caring and compassionate staff. We are extremely pleased and would recommend this home for anyone that has a loved one facing a memory care situation. Yancy & Sarah Gill

brookdale prescribed my grandmother an antipsychotic that has been proven to be dangerous to patients with dementia WITHOUT ALERTING FAMILY. we had to find out from a doctor a month later when we took her for a checkup. when we picked her up about a month ago, she had uncovered sores on her arms and blood in her sheets. absolutely unacceptable. don’t put your family members in the care of brookdale if you want them cared for the way they SHOULD be cared for.

After visiting multiple facilities, Brookdale Tempe stood out from all the others. Their philosophy of "minimum medication and highly-trained staff" convinced me this was the place I wanted to care for my husband with Alzheimer's. He has repeatedly stated that he is happy there. I am there 3 times a week and I can see that the staff themselves are happy there. Staff turnover is low. The facility is clean. My husband loves the food service. The activities are plentiful and appropriate for the varying levels of needs. The administrator is definitely the key to the quality of care given. She frequently gets involved with the care of the residents directly and her bubbly personality is infectious. The nursing staff stays on top of my husband's needs and can even tell by his eyes if he is well or not. I volunteer most Saturdays because I can see the joy in the resident's smiles for all the positive attention that they are given, which makes me happy too. Brookdale Tempe doesn't forget the families either. Once a month families are invited to join their loved ones for dinner. I can't say enough positive about this facility and the staff.
