We scheduled an appointment in January for my baby’s two month old shots. We wasted our time going. We were told at the end of the appointment that they did not have the vaccines on hand and that they would have to be done somewhere else or they would call us when they get them in stock… I have not heard anything from them.

They will not make an appointment for a sick child, only well children, which is the most backwards thing I’ve ever heard in my 17 years working in healthcare. Why would a Dr. Office not prioritize the sick? You must call at 8:30am on the dot to hopefully be worthy enough to receive a same day appointment for your sick child. If you do not get an appointment their advice is to take your child who is sick but definitely not in an emergent situation to the emergency room where I can tell you from years of experience working in emergency rooms your child will most likely catch something worse AND the staff will behind your back talk trash about why you brought a child to the emergency room for a fever, they HATE that who doesn’t really it’s completely idiotic . Also your copay will go from somewhere around $50 at the Dr. to $500 under a commercial insurance. This place should be shut down. Response to owner: There was no misunderstanding, what I said in my review was exactly what I was told by your receptionist. Scheduling an appointment for a child with a fever for next day if you’re booked that day would not be detrimental. When I asked the receptionist what I should do since I could not get a same day appointment I was told TAKE HER TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM. Accountability goes a long way don’t gaslight former clients bc you know your policy is asinine.

I really wanted to love this office, but unfortunately, it wasn't a good fit for us. The nurses were great and I really like Dr. Hoff, but scheduling is a nightmare. I have to book well checks months out. I need to block off huge chunks of time because I've never waited less than 30 minutes to be seen. In fact, our first appointment I actually had to walk out once it hit an hour of wait time. The front office said they would schedule me to come back "right away". It was 3 weeks out. Overall, it's just not the right office for us. That being said, I know many folks that love Arizona Kids Pediatrics so if wait times and scheduling isn't an issue for you, give them a shot!

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Hoff. I wish my son could continue and see her (insurance purposes) but yes! She's definitely the best pediatrician I've ever seen. I definitely miss her
