Dr Xiao is LITERALLY a lifesaver. A couple months ago I experienced a miscarriage. Well after the miscarriage I was still having cramps and bleeding. The western doctors told me I had retained tissue and would have to either take medications or get a D&C (I really did not want to get a D&C). Dr Xiao gave me herbs that helped me to continue to release the tissues and we also did multiple sessions of moxibustion. With these interventions I successfully passed the tissue and did not have to get any medications or procedures done. I got my period back right away and have a normal cycle again with no pain or scaring. This was one of the hardest times in my life and I am forever thankful to Dr Xiao for helping me resolve it naturally. I wish more women knew this is an option after miscarriage!

I went to Great Wall Chinese Medicine towards the end of October for their Sound Bath Meditation & Acupuncture event, and it was an amazing experience. It was my first time ever doing acupuncture, and Dr. Xiao walked me through everything step-by-step in a way that made me feel completely comfortable. She was incredibly kind, patient, and reassuring.
The whole team was very responsive, welcoming, and clearly knowledgeable. The spa itself is clean, relaxing, and has a really peaceful atmosphere.
After the session, they hosted a small gathering with food, hydration, and time to chat with the doctors. They answered all of my questions and really took the time to make sure everyone felt taken care of. Overall, an awesome experience and I’d highly recommend it—especially if it’s your first time trying acupuncture. Will definitely be coming back!

I have been dealing with the symptoms of crohns for years. Western medicine wasn’t giving me much relief and I found myself in a cycle of perpetual pain. After 2 sessions with Dr. Xiao, the chronic pain I had along my stomach meridian is 90% gone. The integrative care is addressing all of the issues that I’m experiencing. For the first time in 5 years, I believe that I can be free of my symptoms.
