I don't recommend this place. I lost my benefits from last year because I went here. First, they made my glasses wrong; I couldn't read. I went back to get them fixed, and the person who was there told me to leave glasses with them that they were going to fix them at no extra charge. Two weeks passed, and they didn't call me. I called, and nobody knew anything about my glasses. I paid 49 plus 221 for the glasses and lost my benefits... don't come to this place.

Went in Friday while shopping in the store for an adjustment on my glasses. I didn’t purchase them here so I didn’t know what to expect. But I will definitely be back for my new pair. The girls were super friendly and gave my glasses a free “tune-up” and even gave me suggestions to similar styles they had. They were all so personable and friendly. I could see the interaction with others as well and you can tell they enjoy what they do.

Purchased some sunglasses recently and I can’t stress enough how easy the process was. The associates picked frames for me, gave me honest opinions and even remembered me when I went to pick them up. Tina and Dani made the process fun which I didn’t think was possible. Usually it feels like a chore. It was a nice experience. Will definitely return for future purchases.

This review is not at all a reflection of the excellent doctor, Dr. Keyla Gammarano she is excellent and unfortunately the Target Optical staff are not. I have been coming here for years. I understand 12/31 is a very busy day because everyone is trying to use their benefits before they expire. That wasn’t the problem. I have a special type of tint I require for my lenses. If I was able to order the tint here I would have. As I was waiting for the eye Dr I went on the website that I have purchased my lenses from with tint in the past and saw I needed my Pupillary Distance in order to complete my order. On the Theraspecs website it says you can find the PD either on your script, by calling your eye Dr office or stopping in at any eye Dr and they can help you find it. The woman working at Target optical, her name is Cathy, refused to help me find my measurements. The excuses she gave were absurd. She first tried saying that she would need the frames I would be using for my lenses in order to help. I told her it was the same ones I was wearing. Next excuse was that she wouldn’t be able to measure it with my current lens tint coating and would need to pop out my lenses in order to do so. I pointed to the shelf of frames for sale and told her they had the same frames on display without a tinted lens right there - I bought the frames from them. Her third excuse was that she was that she was not willing to put her license on the line and become a liability by measuring me and that just because a different Target Optical employee in the past was able to provide my PD over the phone when I called she said they (while gesturing to all 3 employees who were working and behind the counter) are ALL unwilling to risk their licenses and will not be a liability. I said you’re really not going to help me find this number? She replied, “I told you to go to Nationwide vision and order what you need there.” I said I’m not going to Nationwide, I am ordering from the same place I have before. It was humiliating. She finally said “if you ordered from them before they already have it.” I couldn’t believe that after all of that back and forth where I was basically begging to know how to find my PD she tells me this. How does the average person know what a PD is and that it doesn’t change? She didn’t offer to look back in my records to see what number they had written down for me before or tell me that the number stays the same. Before I left I said “I understand you guys are really busy but the level of customer service and the interaction we just had and how you spoke to me was very disappointing.” Sadly Target Optical’s extremely poor customer service and employees aka Cathy being one, aren’t willing to ‘risk their license’ is not supporting Dr. Keyla Gammarano the way she deserves.

Disappointed with the recent changes in staff. I love Dr. Gammarano! She's ah-mazing should have 10 stars! BUt the other doctor I saw was not personable and pleasant. I've had two pair of glasses order in September. I'm wearing 1 pair but the bifocals are not quite right. The second pair still isn't ready after getting bad lens twice. The staff is not pleasant. One young lady wouldn't even help us. The answer we got was "I'm on lunch", which I can understand but then dont sit behind the customer service counter on your phone..aand make sure there is another staff member there. The older lady who is a manager, Kathi, is not very easy to deal with either. I miss Dylan - he was always smiley and personable. This time, I feel like I was over charged. I still have not received the medical records and claim info that I asked for twice.. Disappointed and considering a new eye doctor which will be sad because, again, Dr. Gammarano is awesome and she may saved my husband's eyesight! But the staff - thumbs down!
