I should have read the reviews đ I made a wellness appointment because I have had weird pain etc. I had a change in coverage and income and remembered when I was younger being able to come to PP even for basic clinic type help đ. Already anxious about where I fall on the pay scale, I mentioned to your rude front desk I just started my period but (imo a cancer screening etc would show thru that)...
She tells me I need gyno.. I am literally stunned. What the hell do y'all do here? She cancels my appts and I walk away..
I have always supported and advocated for PP and this was so awful.
I just checked before this review and you absolutely cover everything I was there for đ

My daughter just went in to get tested for STD's. First of all they told her that if she got a notice from a previous partner that they tested positive and she had relations with someone else since then, they could not test her. She argued and then they agreed. The lady shamed her and didn't show any compassion. I believe it's because my daughter is young and was mistreated by this person who shouldn't be working in a place like this. I am incredibly disappointed as I support Planned Parenthood. Why did you say no and then actually do it? What was that all about? Pretty shady!

I had a great experience. I was desperate to switch birth control methods due to undesirable side effects. I havenât had luck finding a gynecologist yet (just recently moved here). Everyone in the staff I had interacted with had a great personality. Sense of humor and respectful and knowledgeable. Very convenient for what I needed.

Couldnât be more disappointed. The employees at this facility dropped the ball today. My husband had a vasectomy planned for over 2 months at this location. They sent a questionnaire last week to which my husband filled out including his insurance information. We both took time off of work and drove almost an hour to the facility. When we arrived he provided ID and insurance card per request. Then we were told they donât take BCBS of AZ. I asked why we werenât notified and I got told.. âwe called everyone with this insurance today.â We have no call. No email. No form of communication. We had the funds to pay out of pocket but decided against it and left. If we canât even be notified of an insurance issue, how can this facility be trusted operate on people?
He spent over two months waiting for this. This was a big decision for us in general and of course a lot of nerves that came along. A lot of planning/time off work as well. We were originally so glad PP had an option for this. After this, never again will I go to a PP - nor recommend.
The employees couldnât have cared less. They obviously didnât check anything prior. They wouldnât have asked for his insurance card upon arriving if they had done their due diligence prior as the information was in the system. They didnât contact him because they didnât verify - then made up a lie about calling. Please train your employees better or hire more efficient staff. This was such a simple thing that couldâve been avoided. Absolutely disgraceful.
