They are short staffed always, they did not hydrate my mother and after 21 days living here I had to take her to the hospital for severe dehydration, UTI, now kidney and heart problems because of their neglect. They retaliated against me by speaking out by purposely ruining her brand new $700.00 mattress! Both the Executive Director Dora Carreon Moreno and the LPN Regina Entrolizo are uncaring and liars! They did not listen to or address any of my valid concerns. The place never answers the phone after hours so you can check on your loved one. I have reported them to the AZ Department of Health so no other family has to endure the neglect and nightmare I have endured because of them. Find another place They are strictly PROFIT over PEOPLE at this corporation.

Looked at many places and started getting concerned of not being able to find the right home. One day we were referred to Brookdale Union Hills, so we decided to visit thank god this place was a blessing. Very clean and feeling of home. Love the staff Tara went above and beyond to make the transition as smooth as possible for his mom and us. We highly recommend this care home for your loved one. Please take the time to visit, you will be glad you did. She has adjusted well and loves it there. Thank you Brookdale!
- TKT. Keith KeatingJan 23, 20153.0Clean, warm atmosphere, staff is nice. This facility is having issue with keeping staff on hand for all four wings. The company in most cases will let you bypass the 30 day notification of moving, especially if you're having problems with some of the staff or not enough staff on hand, as is most evenings. The don't keep very good notes on patients when issues arise with medication. No imagination in getting the medication taken. Food is middle of the road and most of the residents don't like the food. There has been one occasion of a food fight during the dinner hour, an issue with a patient attacking staff and residents. The director of the facility quit and one staff member has walked out during our four month period and two other staff members have been fired.
