- BTBill ThompsonOct 24, 20245.0All of the staff really care about the welfare of the residents at Brookdale. The activities, the food, the care provided for my wife gives me peace of mind knowing that she is being taken care of!
- LMLiz MaachDec 1, 20211.0If I could give this place a lower rating I would. My husband was a resident for 2.5 years. He became bed bound due to a broken hip and soon developed a bed sore due to shortage of staff to take care of him adequately. They told me because of bed sore that I had to move him out. I was devastated. A week after I moved him out they had a collection agency call me and collect for the 7 days he was there and they also told me I had to pay for two additional weeks. .I told them to send me a bill but they wanted me to pay by phone without an invoice. They also kept the $1500.00 I had to pay when he moved in. Brookdale is a horrible company and a total ripoff. I would never recommend this company.

Before the lockdown, I was able to visit and the facility was always clean and the staff friendly to me as well as treating the residents kindly. Right now with the lockdown, it is fantastic how Veronica is able to make 'face time' calls to keep the residents in touch with family and friends. I would recommend this facility.
- TKT. Keith KeatingJan 23, 20153.0Clean, warm atmosphere, staff is nice. This facility is having issue with keeping staff on hand for all four wings. The company in most cases will let you bypass the 30 day notification of moving, especially if you're having problems with some of the staff or not enough staff on hand, as is most evenings. The don't keep very good notes on patients when issues arise with medication. No imagination in getting the medication taken. Food is middle of the road and most of the residents don't like the food. There has been one occasion of a food fight during the dinner hour, an issue with a patient attacking staff and residents. The director of the facility quit and one staff member has walked out during our four month period and two other staff members have been fired.
