I just want to thank the pharmacist Tyler for asking me to double check my primary physician before taking a travel vaccine đź’‰ due to being immunocompromised (asthma, covid 8 times, Lyme disease etc) my doctor let me know I could have died had I taken a common vaccine. I am going to double check another vaccine before I go to Vietnam but I greatly appreciate his patience and consideration ! You saved my life sir

Wife who has ALS forgot some critical medicine. Our MD had to phone in one order 3 times before they discovered they received it; seems like my calls forced them to finally check their voicemail. Other meds (they had) were pulled from our home pharmacy. They purposefully waited until the end of the day to fill them, instructing that I would have to come in and wait 15 minutes. The wait was 1 1/2 hours. The pharmacist put all of the locals in front of me with much down time between and appeared to complete all of his paperwork for the day before he finally filled our Rx's 20 minutes after their 8pm closing. Obviously they don't want non repeat emergency business as it requires more effort, patients needs are a foreign concept!

We were out on the lake and realized that my husband who is diabetic was out of insulin and needed insulin for the evening (he is type 1 diabetic and uses an insulin pump that gives insulin continually). We rushed back to the dock and called the pharmacy to see if they would stay open for just 10-15 minutes longer so we could get my husband’s lifesaving medication. The tech that answered the phone was very polite but told me it was against company policy for him to stay even 10 minutes past closing time. He told me to go to the urgent care,,, that was closed. This pharmacy was the only pharmacy in town that was open till 8:00 pm. I understand that it was our fault for not checking my husband’s insulin pump sooner, but I was extremely discouraged about the lack of wanting to help someone in extreme need!! So disheartening!! Isn’t this why we are here?, to help each other out?!?!
