They seem to always mess things up. Never fails. They never have my medication in stock but take the payment from my insurance. Unbelievable!

I am 70 years old. My wife and I went in for a Shingrix vaccination and we both have Medicare and supplemental insurance. I made an online appointment and filled out the required health forms online to get the appt. We get to the pharmacy for our appt. and the girl tells us the forms are only good the day you get the shot so we filled them out for nothing. Why even have a required online form when you make an appt if it's not good when you get there? Secondly the girl told us the copay would be over $300 for the shots for the two of us. I knew that was wrong but the girl argued with me that it was right. She said my insurance rejected it which I knew was wrong. To make a long story short she came back later and said there would be zero cost. Had I not argued with her I would have paid over $300 for nothing. The techs are apparently not trained on running multiple insurances so be careful how much you are charged. There was a young girl substitute pharmacist there that day and I told her about the incident. Her cavalier response was oh well it's all ok now isn't it? I wonder how many people are being overcharged here and don't even know it because the people running your insurance are totally incompetent?
