I gave Safeway Val Vista/Southern 5 stars because of the BEST pharmacist named Karen. She goes above and beyond for her customers. I’ve been having issues finding my prescription. Karen called all over and finally found it and had it shipped to her location. She has been wonderful for the past few years and this is why I continue to use Safeway pharmacy. Thank you Karen for your hard work and dedication to your customers.

Staff is great, but
numerous time have to get partial script, not ready, waiting in line long time.
I don't understand the bad reviews at all. I specifically go here because they are so much better than the vast majority of pharmacies around. Hardly ever a line here and they always try to make me feel welcome w/o any judgement. Super professional. I feel bad if some had a bad experience but also remember that pharmacists have so many rules to deal with and the insurance companies and doctors have to ok everything. They've always been professional and if I ask politely, they will explain any delay. If they have control over the problem, they have always helped me. I'm a veteran with serious issues (served at the 121st Evac Hospital in Seoul) and they (especially the pharmacists) have always treated me with respect, compassion, and kindness. Thank you.
