Was originally at Fry's. Asked Walgreen's on Nogales if they could transfer my scripts. Was told no and I would have to do it. I did it, but was with Walgreen's a short while with the final straw being the tech would not check the other Walgreen's to see if they had stock of my medication. Other big issue for me is there computer systems were never working. How is this possible? Because it never worked there was one week I went in 4 times just to get my meds. AND....needed to get a vaccine. You don't need to make an appointment so when I showed up I was told it would be a 30 minute wait because someone was ahead of me (I was the only person waiting). So I took my meds to Safeway on Duval. Customer Service has been top notch. The Pharmacist is very nice and accommodating. My prescriptions @ Safeway have been less expensive than Fry's and Walgreens.

The women who work in this pharmacy are helpful & most are pleasant. The pharmacist is arrogant, obnoxious & insulting without even trying. He doesn’t answer the phone or return calls. What kind of pharmacist does that? I changed pharmacies due to this a few months ago.

I have used this pharmacy for many years. The staff has always been courteous and helpful, and I enjoyed getting my prescriptions filled while shopping. In recent months, however, there have been significant issues with things like not receiving prescriptions transferred electronically from multiple physicians. I have resorted to taking paper prescriptions in. This week, I tested positive for COVID, and my Doctor prescribed Paxlovid and a Cough medicine. The Safeway pharmacy app showed that the cough medicine was "in progress", but there was no order for Paxlovid. My doctor then sent an order for Paxlovid to another drugstore but it was delayed because insurance said Safeway was filling it. SAFEWAY DOES NOT ANSWER THE PHONE!!!! Since I am supposed to be isolating due to COVID, I had to ask a friend to go to the pharmacy to resolve the issue. I didn't rate this one star because of the nice and helpful staff.
