i am not one to needlessly glaze medical professionals (and i have a history of medical abuse so my standards are pretty high) but i am genuinely so impressed with Sonora Quest and grateful for my experience at this location. as someone with previous poor medical experiences who hates waiting rooms, the option to wait in the car until my appointment time and until they text me to come in for my turn is 100000/10. i had to get 4 rounds of bloodwork in the last week and getting to do this was genuinely a blessing (also with it being cold/flu season it’s nice to wait in the car and cut back on exposure to germs). once i got back for the bloodwork all the phlebotomists were really nice and super understanding of my nervousness and they went above and beyond to make sure i was comfortable. i have to shoutout Dee/Deeana for being the most skilled phlebotomist i’ve ever had. if they hand out awards for most skilled and painless blood draw, she should win every one. i’ve had my fair share of blood draws in my life but hers was by far the most painless and bruised the least. 10000/10 thank you all for taking such good care of me so many times!!
There is no longer a check in desk with a real person. You have to check in with a ipad kiosk. There is 1 staff member in the waiting room checking in walk in people. No privacy for that check in option. I do NOT recommend this location for people who are not tech savvy. I could not send my grandpa on his own. Will be looking at other options for his labs needs.
*edit to add the staff I did interact with was helpful and empathetic to the patients concerns with this new system

Stop complaining if you didn’t make an appt. I was a walk in and waited less than 15 min. If the kiosk offends you maybe you should think next time when you vote for someone who wants to strip your medical benefits. If it looks like a prison waiting room you may want to rethink your friends.
I recently visited this location for lab work and scheduled my appointment online. On the day of my appointment, I checked in using the self check-in system and waited in my car. When I received a text message, I went inside and was finished in less than 10 minutes total.

I was a walk in. No front desk personnel, no signs, just a kiosk to sign in. They have a queue on the TV. I was number 18 and it moved up and down. After an hour and 10 minutes, I was number 5, so I was thinking I would get called soon. A few minutes later I looked at the TV and I was no longer on the list of 26 names. So, I waited by the door and when someone came out I asked and they told me that walk-ins were 2 to 2.5 hours. So, I left. A simple sign or a warning on the kiosk of the wait would have saved me over an hour.
