  Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with Progressive Medical Equipment. I had a sleep study done seven years ago, and this company insisted that Medicare would not cover a new CPAP machine unless I completed another sleep study. I explained that I had already spoken directly with Medicare, who confirmed that a new sleep study was not required. Over the course of three weeks, I went back and forth with Progressive, and each time they gave a different reason why another sleep study was supposedly necessary. The final representative I spoke with was extremely condescending and unprofessional. She told me she did not care what Medicare had told me and insisted that I was wrong. When I asked her to simply submit the claim to Medicare to verify coverage, she refused and said she “knew” it would not be covered. Due to the dismissive and disrespectful way I was treated, I decided to use another medical equipment provider. That company submitted the claim, and I received my CPAP machine within three days — fully covered by Medicare, exactly as Medicare had stated. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Progressive Medical Equipment.

  I was helped by Brit and she took care of me and was very knowledgeable and took care of my needs. I’m from Iowa and am very glad I came to Progressive Home Medical and I will let other people know of this store and location
