Chenal Urgent Care originally opened in 2013 as Velocity Urgent Care by an out of state corporation in the same location until May, 2018, when Dr. Gregory S. McKinney bought the clinic and changed the name to Chenal Urgent Care.
Dr. McKinney and staff look forward to meeting you and tending to all of your medical needs. We are conveniently located in West Little Rock adjacent to the Purple Cow restaurant.

- AAAbrahamNov 16, 20251.0When this was velocity, i didnt kike it that much so i decided to give this urgent care a try. I brought my mom here to be seen and waited almost 3 hours. It wasn't busy with only 2 people before us in the waiting room plus the people in the patient rooms. A random family walked in 2 hours after we got their and they went immediately in the office which I thought was weird. They called us in and we sat another hour in the patient room. My mom and I were fed up of waiting and I found out and saw that the family that walked in after us were being seen in their office where they have their computers. I was thinking what the heck is the doctor doing seeing them when they walked in way later than us? That infuriated us and we decided to leave. They must have been family members of the clinic. The front desk lady had an attitude the whole way and said we would have waited just as long if we went to the emergency hospital. How the heck does that make any sense? I avoided the ER just for that reason!

The staff were all friendly and the doctor was amazing as well. I received clear instruction of what to expect and the shard was removed and I could not be happier! Shout out to Dr. Jeff Jones and nurse May. Thank you for making things better!
