I went to him in the worst shape. I can’t even explain. He put it together and my health is better because he is the best doctor. Hands down. Period, the end.

My children have been seeing Dr Vaughan for a few years now and in my honest opinion he is the best doc. I would recommend him to anyone

My husband has been a patient of Dr. Vaughan for many years. He has high blood pressure and takes meds for that as well as for high cholesterol. He must have a blood test and check up every year before his prescriptions can be renewed. In mid-June he called to make his yearly appointment and was told that he could not be seen because Dr. Vaughan was booked until September. He told them that he had to be seen before that, but they failed to make an appointment for him. He called back and persisted and was told to come in and the nurse would draw the blood that he did not have to see the doctor for that. He went in and had his lab work done and they never called him back. Before he ran out of meds, he called and was told the nurse was not available, but would call him back. He waited days, and received no call. He tried again with the same results. He let the days slip by and ran out of meds. He went five days without meds and still no call. He woke up on Thursday, July 18 with a headache, ringing in his ears, and feeling very ill. He drove himself in to Dr. Vaughan's office and demanded, angrily, that they call in his prescriptions or tell him the reason why. The nurse came out, having heard what he said, I suppose. She told him that she had just called in the prescriptions. He left the office without being informed about his lab work, nor did they even bother to check his bp, which at that time was dangerously high. He picked up his meds, came home and began taking them. However, his blood pressure continued to fluctuate wildly, going very high at times. This precipitated a trip to the ER on Sunday where he spent several hours hooked up to a monitor. His pressure went up and down while he was there, but he was sent home with instructions to see a doctor in the next few days. He went to another doctor on Monday, July 28, and the dosage for his bp med was increased dramatically. His bp is still running too high, but is gradually coming down. This could have been catastrophic, but thankfully, he did not have a crippling stroke, or even worse, die.
I have no idea how these people could have been so careless at the least, and outright negligent at the worst. Because of their actions/inaction, my husband has suffered needlessly, and our family has been stressed and worried for the past week and a half. I have no wish to harm anyone, and I do not like posting this, but the truth should be told. His life was at stake, and Dr. Vaughan and his staff did not do their jobs.
