This store also accepted my insurance, I called around 3 other stores and they did not accept it, but they did! Highly recommend their services !

- CGCalifornia GirlNov 6, 20255.0I had a very good experience here. I had the vision exam for both glasses & contacts, both were ready within a few days, I assumed it would take up to a week or two. I have Care Credit, usually the VA covers most things for me with the exception of vision and dental. I was able to get two pairs of glasses, a six month supply of Air Optix contact lenses and the eye exam for $764. I assumed it would cost more, but did not. FYI, the optometrist sees you via a screen in the exam room, and he is able to check your eyes via a remote control chair and lenses. I thought it was interesting, he did a great job, it was basically a Tele-Med exam. Some people may not like it, but I had no issues with the exam process. The only thing I did not like were the plastic eyeglass cases they provided. Both my glasses were large, did not really fit, ask if they had a selection of hard eyeglasses cases. The girl working with me was very helpful. I was told that they do not accept Medicaid, but do accept Medicare for glasses only, plus other forms of vision plan insurers. I chose Stanton Optical because one of my coworkers in California had nothing but good things to say about them.

I wasn't greeted when I first walked in Mrs Tanya who came from the back saw me and asked about my appointment I had arrived early she therefore changed my time online. But yet I still had to wait 20 minutes to get seen. After waiting Tanya asked the (black woman with no name) what was taking so long...Then another 5 and it was almost closing time so there was no busy bees maybe 1 customer ahead of me and they were being helped by someone else. Then I was trying to order glasses and we kept talking getting off subject. When it came time to pay i over paid for nothing. Cost me a lot of money for 1 pair of contacts shouldn't have come to 100$ if they show they are 14$ ish on the computer receipt. Online prices are great you just get screwed in the store and then get hounded to do a review.
