The nurses and staff are top notch. They made me feel as comfortable as possible and not like a patient. The two nurses that got me and took me to surgery ( sorry I can’t remember your names, the shot kinda of hindered my memory… lol) were very awesome and caring. To the whole nursing staff for my surgery you are very much appreciated and thank god for each and everyone of you.

I signed myself out of Gadsden Regional Hospital because I felt the nurses were disrespectful and the treatment wasn't right. I went to Riverview Hospital. The nurse's were very friendly and professional. They immediately started treating me for pneumonia. Antibiotics ect, ect. Something Gadsden Regional wasn't doing. The nurses were great at Riverview. They brought my medicine on time and never a cross word or attitude if I ask for something. There was a special nurse named April that worked 3 straight nights on the 5th floor. She was pretty and very professional doing her job. I feel like she went above and beyond her duty, friendly and extremely professional. I'd definitely recommend Riverview hospital and hopefully you'll be lucky enough to have great nurses like April is, and your stay there will be comfortable. Thanks Allen Uhlman

If I could give negative stars I would. I went with chest pain and after being given morphine twice and very little relief I was sent home with the same pain. The only good thing I have to say is my nurse Lily was amazing. If you actually want answers go elsewhere. Not to mention after being given said morphine I was allowed to walk out by myself and drive myself home no questions at all because the nurse who replaced the actual good one was apparently in a hurry to get to something incoming because he lay my discharge papers on the table said everything is there when you get dressed you can go. No one even noticed i walked out....

Best and kindest care I have ever received at Riverview.. Lee Edwards and Elizabeth where our nurses for Julian they were extremely thorough and patient. They are exceptionally attentive with the information with the care for my son during and post operation procedures. Thank you so very much!! Doctor Wilson was very detailed, answering all questions, and explaining what exactly was done, no additional entry, discovered, and positive recovery predictions. As an athlete wrestler (220 lbs)for Southside high school, which is where he tore his ACL.. He is looking forward to full recovery and the opportunity to get back on the mat and continue winning..

Very disappointed at the care my husband received from Brett in the ER. My husband has been sick with the flu and he was short of breath to the point of barley able to walk and talk,so when we arrived,I ask for assistance to get him a wheelchair. He spoke to my husband with absolutely no compassion, commanding him to do things that he could not do. My husband is usually a strong man with no issues but he was in a very weak vulnerable position. I told Brett he could not do the things he was telling him to do and he completely ignored me. He could hardly talk because of the shortness of breath. I had to check him in so I was not with my husband when they took him in triage. He said he continued to talk to him very disrespectful to the point my husband told him to get away from him. Brett is very disrespectful and he definitely does not need to be working around vulnerable patients. Brett is a major red flag. Beware of him. Everybody else we dealt with was nice and professional. The ER was dirty and definitely has went down hill over the last year. Plenty of staff but not enough care and compassion. I kept hearing a lady ask for help, she was having a headache begging for medication and the person dealing with her sounded pretty much like Brett personality. So sad, this is a person's most vulnerable position and this is how you get treated. 💔 compassion goes a long way, we will all be in that state one day. Beware Brett, stay away from him. PCT in olive color scrubs. Not a nurse hopefully he will never become one.
