My first visit to Dr. Avery was a nightmare. I went to the Gardendale location. I waited for over an hour and a half due to a mix up with paperwork. Once that was taken care of Dr. Avery came in and was extremely rude. He was extremely arrogant and spoke to me in a very condescending way. He does not explain things well in a way that a patient would understand. I had to repeatedly ask him to please explain what these medical terms mean. The worst experience I’ve ever had with any doctor. He recommended a procedure for me and I wouldn’t let him operate on my fish more less me. Very poor bedside manner.

Dr. Avery is the best ortho Dr. Ive ever been to. Very knowledgable about new techniques and treatment's that my previous Drs. had not offered. I will always use him and would recommend him 100 per cent. Ive also not ever had to wait a long time in his princeton office. Happy patient.
