- ATAdam TDec 20, 20252.0The YMCA works well for families, but I’m moving to Onelife Fitness due to rising membership costs for working adults. Meanwhile, seniors and others are able to work out for free. The gym is frequently overcrowded with kids in the cardio and weight areas WHEN THEY SHOULD NOT BE, and management is almost never around. Onelife Fitness is state of the art workout equipment for a better cheaper monthly fee.

I've been to other YMCAs across the country, and few have all the resources that the Hoover Y has: Egym, YGT, yoga, Zumba, strength classes, water classes and outreach to the community. The inside and outside of the building has gotten some TLC lately which really puts this facility over the top!
