- PJPatrick JonesAug 19, 20251.0Absolutely the worst place to go for Mental Health. My mental health is actually worse because of them. Between the therapists giving the worst kind of therapy and the psychiatrists showing complete dismissal to anything the patient has to say, it doesn't matter if it's based on income. They will, regardless of what your past record has been, only prescribe something to help with depression and anxiety. They will argue with you to no end claiming that's what you have regardless of anything else. God forget you get nurse practitioner Cobb as your psychiatrist. He wasn't good enough to get a doctorate and it definitely shows.

CASTRO, WHO YOU NEVER SEE IN PERSON, YOU JUST SEE HIM ON A TELEPROMPTER, HE DOESN'T TAKE TIME TO GET TO KNOW YOU, HE JUST LET'S A SO CALLED "THERAPIST" TELL HIM ABOUT YOU!! AND NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU TELL HIM THAT THE MEDICINE ISN'T WORKING, HE WILL NOT LISTEN TO YOU, HE LEAVES YOU ON THE SAME MEDICATION HE FIRST PRESCRIBED FOR YOU!!! EVEN AFTER YOU HAVE BEEN ON THE PSYCH WARD OF THE HOSPITALS, AND THEY GOT YOUR MEDICATION RIGHT THAT WORKS FOR YOU, AND MAKING YOU FEEL BETTER , HE WONT CHANGE YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS AND KEEP YOU ON THE MEDICINE THAT WAS WORKING IN THE HOSPITAL!!! HE DOES NOT HELP YOU AT ALL!!! HE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT HIS PATIENTS AND THEIR WELL BEING!!! I KNOW THIS IS THE TRUTH BECAUSE MEDICAID MAKES ME KEEP HIM AS MY SO CALLED "PSYCHIATRIST"!!! BUT ME AND MY HUSBAND ARE LOOKING FOR A NEW PSYCHIATRIST AND WILL PAY WHATEVER OUT OF POCKET IT COSTS US!!! I WILL NEVER USE HIGHLAND HEALTH SYSTEMS OR DR. CASTRO AGAIN!!! I WOULD RATHER DIE THAN TO USE THEM ANY MORE!!!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE AT ALL!!! NOT EVEN MY WORST ENEMY!!!! THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR MENTAL HEALTH!!! - SLSonya LloydApr 7, 20234.0I was extremely nervous & anxious (I thought I was going to have a panic/anxiety attack) and I just wanted to leave & go back home to the safety of my home. But the ladies that waited on me and the therapist was very nice and understanding. We'll see how the next visit goes.
- RBRobert BlackDec 11, 20181.0Very poor service and patient relations, after a few years of being shuffled around and not really getting any real treatment(seeing someone for 10 mins. every 6 months just for them to ask a couple of questions like, 'are you taking your medicine?) they not only dropped me from treatment without notice they refuse to tell me why I was dropped. I would not have known had I not called to find when my appointment was because I was out of medicine. I asked why and they hymned and hawed and transferred me from one person to another. one woman says"I bet I know why" and after checking said oh ok" but she then acted like she had no idea. I was told twice they would research it and call me back that day.it has now been a week and still no call. don't go here for any reason they only care for your money and will let you suffer.
