Least helpful pharmacy I have ever been to. The pharmacist wasn't interested in working with my insurance, didn't seem interested in my coupon for a 30 day free supply of my medication prescription and didn't give me correct information about how to transfer my prescriptions. I figured it out and had my prescriptions transferred elsewhere. I will never use this particular Safeway pharmacy again.

Been coming to Safeway in Soldotna since they first opened the store in the 1990’s, seen it grow and add more and more products to there store…for retail they do there best to meet customer concerns, availability of products, sales, staff enough people for which ever season it is, to store cleanliness. Last winter there entrances got updated with safer floorings to handle the wetness from snow being tracked in, I love the smaller carts that were added few years back plus the fact of the rider carts seem to always be charged. I appreciate those easy rider carts. Want to say thank you for all you do to meet the customers needs/wants. There hours are nice as well, open as early as 6am and close near midnight most nights.

The new young lady working on the pharmacy needs to not undermine my doctor's decisions on what medications to prescribe! I've had nothing but problems with her. So tell me I have one prescription for not enough medication then have to order. Yesterday I went and to pick up my prescription was told she would fill it but had to call the doctor first! To find out if the prescription was legit! Then was told to come back to pick up prescription when came back not enough meds to fill the prescription. Every time I go in and deal with her they either have to order my meds or don't have enough to fill my meds. She's new to her job. She may just got out of pharmacy school but she's not my doctor she's my pharmacist! She also needs not to argue with the customers! She has underminded me and underminded my doctors called my doctor's office when they were busy. I've been I've been taking the same medications for over 20 years and she has to question it I don't think that's her job!

Good quality groceries and products. The prices are higher than some other stores, but if you shop sales and compare prices, they occasionally compete. I appreciate the deli options and the speed/service in the pharmacy.
