I too like Robbin R. am disappointed with my purchase for various reasons. But mainly the poor construction (stucco thin and poorly applied, second floor bedroom sloped and after several attempts still not repaired properly, caulking issues throughout the house, poorly applied and repaired, etc. etc). In addition, I too had the police called on me regarding my vehicle being inoperable which was absolutely not true and as if calling the police and sending them to my home at 7:00 a.m., wasn't enough, they reported me to the HOA who wrote me a letter but they did verify with me that it wasn't a true complaint. Truly if my neighbors have an issue, I don't mind them coming by, knocking on the door and letting me know that something I'm doing is disturbing their peace. We all purchased these homes wanting the same things I'm sure, peace, quiet, a beautiful neighborhood and nice homes that will increase in value overtime. Having great neighbors is important as well. I don't think any of us intend to disturb one another intentionally, but we all know that it could happen unintentionally. I have no complaints about my neighbors because people have a right to enjoy their homes without being harassed or singled out for minor issues found in most neighborhoods. I wouldn't recommend a purchase here for many reasons, mostly construction related, but the neighbors definitely are not one of the reasons. Hopefully when the rest of the homes sell, we can move forward with increased respresentation by homeowners on the board and address real and impactful issues. I worked in Code Enforcement for 18 years and Law Enforcement for 20 years and obtaining the balance between community enjoyment and rules enforcement can be tough at times. I see the beautiful improvements being made by neighbors and it's gives me hope.
