  Went for brunch for the first time, normally do lunch/dinner. Brunch left something to be desired especially with service. Our waitress was not helpful, unable to answer questions, and slow. The food for brunch (breakfast tacos and the chicken) were very salty. One of the guests asked for a regular juice mimosa instead of their vodka mixed mimosas and she said it wasn’t possible even though they have regular OJ ones. Didn’t offer any suggestions. Made for an overall unpleasant experience and won’t be back.

  My go-to brunch spot. Fantastic atmosphere, great food, also a bunch of local brewery options on tap if that's your thing. They give chcolate squares with ther cappuccinos and their frites are great with all the sauce options! If I were to say one negative thing, it's that it gets very busy during the morning rush so I recommend showing up before 9:45 if you want to avoid a 45 minute wait. The wait is well worth it though.

  Gluten Free and Celiacs - this is your place! I tend to overly judge restaurants and breweries by how well they accommodate gluten free folks and Cafe Hollander has got it down! You do not have to worry about a sad and dry udi hamburger bun being slapped on your burger here (or breakfast sandwich here). The gluten free menu here is thoughtfully delicious and reliable, and can be paired with several options of gluten free beer! It’s great having a local spot with a gorgeous atmosphere and tasty gluten free meal here in Madison.

  A solid atmosphere! Everything was decorated beautifully. The staff were also friendly and helpful. Now for the food; Cheese curd; 10/10, great sauce. Warm but not too hot to eat. Good crunch on the coating Spicy badger and the Hollander bloody Marys could have been spicier but the overall flavors were good and the pickled veggies were delicious Pretzel breakfast Sammy was delightful. Great flavors and textures although the presentation could have been better. The sweet potato fries were good Farmers omelette with regular fries; was made well. The ingredients tasted fresh and the fries were crispy and salty Solid merch for shirts as well; all in all an easy add to my favorites list and would definitely go back and also recommend to friends Of note, we arrived at 11:15 on a Thursday and it was quite empty; didn't need a reservation. It started to fill up around 12:15 when we left but I don't think a reservation is necessary for a week day

  Horrible experience. I made a reservation and had to wait for the table to be ready with two toddlers this is a bit difficult. The waitress didn't provide water. The worst was the food was cold, the coffee was cold, the hot chocolate was barely warm and the hot apple cider was barely warm and tasted like it came out of a packet. We used to go slot but I won't go back after this experience. The waitress never checked to see how everything was. She was either hung over, didn't care or just bad at her job.
