  I couldn’t remember when I ever had Chicago style pizza. However I drive across town to try it and the food did not disappoint. It’s so worth the drive. Easy to order online and was ready after long days work and ate a hearty and delicious pizza. I and excited to try their meatball sandwich. Sorry no pictures, I ate it all.

  The pizzas were delicious! We enjoyed three types:deep dish, Grandma pizza, and tavern type. My family loved them all. It was so easy ordering online and setting the pick-up schedule. The pizzas were ready on time just as the follow-up message stated. Customer service person was helpful and courteous on the phone when I called to check for readiness. Thank you. We will return again soon. 😀

  We had been wanting to try this place since they opened. Tonight, new years eve, we decided to splurge and order from them instead of ordering from Pizza Hut. I ordered online at about 4:20 for a pickup time of 5:45. Got there at 5:45 and was informed they were extremely backed up and it would be about 45 minutes! The gal working the counter was friendly and apologetic, and offered us free soda while we waited. But We then had to listen to her and the kitchen staff complain about their predicament for the time we were waiting. In all fairness, it was only 30 minutes longer. Then we got home. It was absolutely the worst pizza Ive had in recent memory. The sausage was freezer burned. The “pan pizza” was not a pan pizza, just the tavern thin crust put in a different pan. It was like eating cardboard. Im sorry that they were having issues, but it was terrible. Sorry we picked them for New Years Eve. Should have just gone to Pizza Hut.

  Today was our 4th visit. We always order a deep dish magnificent mile pizza. Tonight’s order was a bit disappointing compared to what we’ve received before. The pizza today was much thinner with less cheese and toppings than usual. This is pretty unfortunate, especially because the price increased slightly and it wasn’t as good as a value as before. Not sure if they have changed up the recipe or portions or if this was just a fluke.

  Being from Illinois and having spent a significant amount of time in Chicago I had high hopes for this place and had a mixture of feelings about their food. It definitely hits the spot for looking, feeling, and smelling like home. Vibes in the restaurant remind me of the pizza place I worked at for my first job and the folks I talked to (the owners) were super friendly and chatty. I thought the food texture and look were very on point for what I remember of spots back home (it’s been a year since I was there) but the flavors/seasoning were a little lacking. Pizza crust is a similar texture/density to Lou Malnati’s. Cheese was on point for pull and density. The sauce was solid, too. It just seemed like everything was right but the flavor is just dialed back slightly. Same with the Italian beef I had. Beef and bun were both just a little less flavorful than I really wanted. I was skeptical of the look of the tavern style pie but, again, it hit on everything except flavor. I typically prefer more of a cracker crust but the break on this crust is good even if it is softer than my preference. Big fan of the people and the vibes, though, and it’s definitely worth trying - especially if you’ve never been to Chicago.
