Had this pizza for the first time, and I was blown away! I was full after one slice! The service was really good, the owner Dave was so sweet and explained the menu to us and his wife came and served us very well, she even gave us the instructions on how to reheat the pizza. Overall, very great place. Cant wait to try their other menu items!

The pizza is great but the star of the show for me is the meatball sandwich. Hands down the best meatball sandwich I have ever had in my life. I get it every time I go. And the staff is incredible. It’s worth the 40 minute drive for me every time

We came here for the first time ever. I had a doctor's appointment and my chauffeur was out in the car the owner she came out and was talking to him about where I can go eat for lunch and she had told him about her business and he told me when I got out of my appointment there's a pizza place right behind there so we went I Love Italian food. The club sandwich was amazing and the calzone was huge and delicious 😋 I had to bring a doggy bag home cause uh the calzone was huge and we had to split it and the cheeses that they use are delicious and everything tasted excellent will be coming back in 2 weeks for some more yumminess.. and service and the owners are extremely nice and polite they're very welcoming .

After having lived in Chicago for a part of my life and having traveled a good portion of the US, this is hands down the best pizza I have ever had and I don’t usually like pizza. This is not traditional pizza, this is deep dish and it is excellent! We will be going back and I highly suggest you go expecting to bring leftovers home and also open minded about trying a new pizza style than you may be used to. The owners are amazing and very down to earth, don’t hesitate to tell them if something is not right so they have an opportunity to fix it. They care more than you may realize. See you guys next time!

If you haven’t tried Chicago’s Pizza Kitchen in University Place yet, you are seriously missing out. I stopped in on a whim and ordered the Pepperoni & Meatball Quad, and let me tell you — it was easily the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. The crust was that perfect balance of crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, the sauce had this rich, homemade flavor that tasted like it was simmered all day, and the toppings? Generous, perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavor. Every single bite made me want to go back for another slice… and then another.
What really makes this place stand out, though, are the owners. They’re the kind of people who make you feel like family the second you walk through the door — genuinely friendly, passionate about what they do, and you can tell they care deeply about their customers and the community. You don’t see that kind of heart in big chain restaurants anymore, and it makes all the difference.
This is the kind of local spot that deserves to be packed every night. Whether you’re grabbing a casual dinner, picking up take-out for movie night, or just craving a pizza that actually tastes like real pizza, this is the place to go.
Support local, skip the chains, and give Chicago’s Pizza Kitchen a try — you’ll be hooked after the first bite.
