Not impressed with the service at this location. I waited at the deli counter for 3 minutes while people who walked up behind me were waited on. Eventually left empty-handed. They also have stopped carrying things I used to buy regularly, like my variety of breakfast sandwiches and heat-and-eat baked potatoes in the chiller in the deli.

I was in line in the pharmacy today and saw something that disturbed me and made my blood boil. Another employee walked over to the pharmacy and berated one of the pharmacy workers for not ringing up a product and telling a customer to have said product rang up at the front of the store. And to top it off, apparently, if a pharmacy worker tells you to be rang up at the front, the product is now free. I have issues about this for several reasons.
First reason: Humiliating your employees is not only distasteful, but abusive. If a conversation needed to be had, why do it out where I, a customer can easily hear you. Second reason: I've worked retail before where my old store had a pharmacy. When things got busy for the pharmacy workers, sending them to the normal registers was a normal thing to do, even encouraged. I don't understand why that alone is an issue. Three: Theft. In all my years of retail, I have never, not once heard of a policy where a situation like that means the customer gets free product. This sounds like something else is going on.
It looks like the pharmacy worker was just thrown under the bus INFRONT OF CUSTOMERS, so an employee could give away free product. I will be calling, not the store though, if this happens in front of customers and employees, I doubt the stores management cares and maybe is in on the theft. Wish me luck finding the correct number to make a complaint. TREAT YOUR EMPLOYEES BETTER SAFEWAY!!!!!

Open and inspect the fruit THOROUGHLY,half of the blackberries and a third of the grapes had too be tossed. With high prices that is unacceptable,do better Safeway.
Although it's not just Safeway, idk what's up but Fred Meyer's fruit has been bad lately as well. But I really expected more from Safeway so 🤷
The staff is great,it's always clean, not a fan of the remodel but overall it's a good store
