  This review is about my visit on Wednesday, January 7th 2025. I've been coming here for years and getting a Big Mac meal. On this particular day, James (unfortunately the GM) was requiring me to pay an extra 25 cents for tarter sauce I always get for my fries. Everyone knows that McDonald's isn't cheap anymore as a matter of fact, I can get Reds Tavern double at Red Robin for a little bit cheaper and its better food. So, I wasn't going to pay any more than the $11.00 it costs for the Big Mac meal. James was sticking to his guns, so I asked for a refund. He gave me my $11.00 back and told me to keep the large coke which was worth $2.69. Wow. What sence does that make? He gives away $2.69 instead of 25 cents. Thats incredibly counter productive to the business. 🫤 Mcdonald's corporate, y'all need a new GM at this location. I went to a different Mcdonald's got 2 tarter sauces for my fries without incident after this. Was completely unnecessary to force me to go to a different location.

  Two things. 1. I always get the vanilla cone as I am addicted to them. 2. Unfortunately, I live close to this McDonald's. And out of the millions of vanilla cones I have had at Alden McDonald's all over the country. This McDonald's is hands down consistently the worst. The employees here need to go through some serious remedial training on how to use the ice cream machine and serve the vanilla on the cone. It is an absolute disgrace and because I live so close, each time eye pray and hope that something has changed but to my other dismay, does pathetic and sorry excuse of vanilla cone just does not seem to improve. And most importantly, despite witnessing vast improvements in all the McDonald's having functioning ice cream machines, this one straggles behind and lacks the quality control and assurance and remains as a constant disappointment to vanilla cone addict. So much so that (one of the reasons) I plan to move out of this area just so that I can drag my lazy butt to a different McDonald's.

  I live really close by so it’s always been an alternative to cooking or just a quick snack. However, it truly depends on who’s working. Order is about 40% they’ll get it right, or be missing items, get somebody else’s order. Most the time I do go back but sometimes I can’t an I can’t eat what they gave me. So as an update, McDonald’s GM did reach out to me and try to narrow down what’s happening and how they can improve. I’ll change my review in the future to see what has improved

  I will start by saying I should've taken photos to show proof. I have unfortunately been to this location five times and each time they charged me $5 for a large fry just to get that little bag that usually is in a kid's meal or an actual small fry order. After seeing moldy food from my coworkers and strangers I will no longer eat here and will warn others not to as well. Bad food. Slow (fast food). Poor service.

  I’d be weary of this location. They handed me the wrong food in the drive through. Then proceeded to try to get me to give it back. I told the employee it’s against health code to take it back but she didn’t care. They took it back and gave it to the car behind me. Not her fault, probably management encourages that. Makes me wonder what other health codes they are violating.
