The man and woman at the cash center/customer service desk are extremely rude and unhelpful. Man on the phone on the 24th told me they were closing “right now” when I called at 6:15pm even though the store closed at 7pm that day and they were still open when I arrived 15 minutes later. Was also told different stories between the man and woman about how high a check can be cashed there. The man told me they cash checks for over $1k but not on holidays. Despite this, when I called today, the woman told me they “don’t cash checks over $900”, and was extremely rude about it, saying she “remembered me from last time” with an attitude when I was only previously told it only couldn’t be cashed because of the holiday. Not sure why I was told different information with an attitude like I was supposed to know that already. Horrible communication and customer service. (Specifically the white man on staff after 6pm on the 24th & the older white woman on staff the morning of the 25th and 26th.)

We had a bad experience at the Sequim Safeway today. Granted no one wants to work on Christmas, but, the front manager, Josh Robbins, was so rude and condescending I can’t help but want to write a review. He was impatient and mean to customers. How a person like that is a manager is beyond me. Perhaps customer service training would help, but a person like that, probably nothing will. You can’t change a bad attitude.

Safeway Sequim went above and beyond. I called to order a Thanksgiving dinner for my aunt and uncle since I’m out of state, but everything was sold out. The team still went out of their way to make it happen and made their holiday amazing. Thank you, Safeway, for your kindness and exceptional service. 🙏✨

The lady in the wine department/liquor department is the most rude person I have encountered in any store in my entire life. I have now had the pleasure of meeting her three times and on every occasion I feel that I’m not wanted, liked or respected. Today was the last time I will frequent Safeway in Sequim. Terribly customer rapport.
