Had a beef patty, oxtails with rice and peas, and a couple rum punch’s. Everything was great and the young lady that served me was really nice. I’ll be back next time I’m in town.

Price: 2 plates of food, one vita malt, one side of plantains= $62 Only people who really love Caribbean food or are natives will like this price considering slow service, tacky ambiance . all others will be let down from the price. But still worth it for the true lovers. True value of the meal: $48, actually charged $62 with 15% tip totaling $71. No alcoholic drinks were included in this total but still surpassed $50 somehow….
My family is from Antigua so finding good Caribbean food in Seattle is definitely a challenge! We arrived, no hostess so we had to wait a little bit to be sat (there were only people sitting at the bar, the restaurant was empty). We ordered curry goat, jerk chicken and plantains at around 7pm. They were out of carrot juice, and coco bread what a bummer! Food arrived pretty fast and the curry goat was fantastic, the jerk chicken was also good, one drumstick was dry but the other was moist, seasoning was good. Having that curry goat really brought me back so I really enjoyed that. I put 4 stars because the service was extremely slow, although the waitress was super nice it's seems they have some regulars they like to socialize with so we had to physically get up to ask for the check after waiting and trying to flag her down for almost 15 mins. Ambiance was ok, the lights are super bright and the decorations are messy featuring Asian country flags but not even Antiguan flag :( I still tipped the waitress despite poor service, but if I go again and it happens again the staff will not receive a tip. I put 4 stars because often Caribbeans are pretty bad at customer service so I wasn't surprised but this place deserves to climb up and the only way they can do that is to make sure they meet American customer service standards in an American country! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good Caribbean food!!
