Walked in to get some takeout after a long week, it's cozy and quiet with fun decor. Service was prompt and helpful and I got my rolls spent 27 including a 20% tip and was on my way home within 15 minutes. My food was well packaged. I walked home and it was still warm after 20 minutes. The cold food was kept well separated from the hot food too. I enjoyed the sauces and the fried roll was quite crispy, it all tasted great. I also appreciated the portion sizing. The all you can eat is great for groups as it's served by roll so if you each select a different roll and then share you can get a bit of everything. They use a tablet system wich is helpful if you aren't chatty or want to really explore the menu and options.

    1. photo on the menu shows sashimi come in generous slice; but for each of the 4 ordering they came diced up in 1cm cubes a very stingy presentation, as if it is for feeding birds. We do not feel the satisfaction of a thick slice of sashimi on our tongues to excite our taste buds. Not once were we at any traditional Japanese restaurant seeing this type of sashimi presentation. Very dissatisfying. 2. Shrimp tempura came with a thick batter coating; inside of which a long worm like shrimp strip no more than 0.5cm thick. Again, we had not seen and shrimp tempura being presented with such stingy portion with not even a while shrimp inside. Unprofessional and not ethical practice. 3. No real wasabi served, that green imitation paste serve is not even hot or remotely mimicking the genuine wasabi; and above all, this item is not even available on each table. We ran out of the small dap of fake wasabi twice; it was brought to us in a partitioned sauce dish, and each time we had to wait for the waiter to show up whenever he’s free from some other chores. Very dissatisfying. 4. In regard to the sashimi served on rice, the sashimi slice is so thin, one can almost see through it, but the rice mound is big. The customer want to taste the sashimi and not want the taste of rice to over power it. Very disappointing

I went on a Sunday for the AYCE and everything started off fine. The food was decent, nothing amazing but acceptable. However, what really affected the experience was the service. During our second round, we waited over 30 minutes for three rolls that never arrived. We could clearly see many rolls being served to other tables, so eventually we decided to leave. Also, keep in mind that any leftover food is charged, so you really need to be careful with what you order. The total came out to $74 for two people including tax. Overall, the long wait and service issues made the experience disappointing.

It was my first time coming here, and I doubt I'll be coming back. At first glance, the overall restaurant seems clean and nice, but there was a foul scent, I'm unsure what it was. However, once my party and I got sat, we were met with disappointing service and had to ask for our food numerous times. The food itself was cold and the nigiri had an unholy amount of rice, so I recommend only getting the sashimi if you do come here. The sashimi was probably the best part about the experience, it tasted somewhat fresh, but also didn't have such a fishy taste. This AYCE would be good, but it needs some adjustments considering the pricing.
