We shop there occasionally if we don't want to brave the wasteland that is the Ranier Valley. The reason for the 4 stars is most affordable grocery stores are understaffed & regularly out of product on the shelves. Here was no exception. Thankfully they had what I needed to buy.

And I think it is completely out of line when cashier Marie at store 2932 felt the need to comment on my child and her habits. It is none of their business what my child is doing when it is not effecting the store itself or anyone around her. Cashiers do not need to say everything that comes to mind just to fill dead air. You can be polite without commenting on the people around you. I use to think this store was one of the better Safeways. Very disappointed. More of my shopping will be done at PCC.
