Didn't see it, but got a Safeway vanilla ice cream cake. The store is clean, spacious, smells good, has a variety of products, etc, and the staff is very helpful, polite, and patient. Highly recommend it.

However, my husband and I both had strange and off-putting interactions with checkout staff that make us reluctant to shop here. A checkout person accused him of selling alcohol to minors and insisted that his eye color didn't match his license, none of which is true. And today, I went to the self-checkout and an employee asked if I wanted to answer a survey, then proceeded to fill it out FOR ME before I could answer him. What is the point of customer feedback if the employees just disregard what the actual customers think and inflate their own store's perception? Bizarre, totally overreaching, and I will think twice before shopping here again. Please train your checkout staff to be more respectful.

- JDJosh DeckerOct 4, 20252.0Only reason it has two stars is because the employees are nice but Safeway as a company and as a store is such a rip off for everybody, I can go down to QFC and get twice as many eggs as I can buy at this store for $12 the amount of complacency Safeway as a company towards food insecurity for low income families is beyond me especially a parent at this store. every time I walk into a Safeway and see the prices I think to myself there’s nothing safe about this for anybody’s wallets then it makes me wonder how long the food has actually been sitting there not being sold. this store in particular does not have any meat department or fresh produce that’s worth even considering just save the time go to QFC. This Safeway is essentially a glorified convenience store posing as a community market.
