Clean, one of the cleanest grocery stores I've seen in a while, pretty well stocked for 7:30pm. Friendly associates, helpful. Pharmacy staff prompt, friendly, and efficient... took no time at all to pick up a prescription then do my shopping. I usually go through the self check-out but sometimes I would like to go through a cashier's line but there were none open at 7.30-8pm. On site parking was fairly open with disabled parking available. Short and pleasant trip to Safeway in Renton on Rainier Ave & 3rd. My first time at that particular Safeway and I will definitely go again. This is what all Safeway stores should strive for.

It used to be "somewhat" safe to shop between 10am - 5pm, now it's not safe at Safeway at all, parking lot smells like pee and hoodlums are hanging out 24/7.

Get new security ..I watched your security strong arm and basically treat a alleged thief like bullies.. im not saying that stealing is ok or that he shouldn't be punished .. but the guys pants were down , he was not going anywhere and the 3 security guards al doubled if not tripled the young man's weight ... you are supposed to apprehend these individual for the police to make sure that they are court or whatever punishment society or court systems decide is correct ... what you did was deal out your own justice and you used cruel and unusual punishment to make that person admit they stole . Thats not what I would expect from any security ... if you can't do your job without getting your emotions involved then get a new job . Your wrong for the way you treated that person even if he is the. Worst repeat shoplifter ever . The kid looked sickly from not eating and im pretty sure he stole food .. she on you no matter what he did U can detain him and others and remember we are all humans even those of us who are at our lowest point .. ( isn't this when you are supposed to show the kid love and understanding even though your doing a job .. it was the hate and malice I your actions as you had kid pinned down you still kept trying to inflict pain on him . Extremely annoyed Safeway shopper for 30+ years ..
